My phone doesn’t get the alarms. What should I check?

Open the app: Home shows a warning when something on this phone blocks alarms. Tap it to go to the phone’s settings and allow notifications for LopOff, plus Critical Alerts on iPhone, or the alarm channel and full-screen alerts on Android, and turn off battery optimisation for LopOff. When it works again, the app says so.

The app says my LopOff is offline. What now?

LopOff couldn’t reach our server, so its alarms can’t reach your phone. The app shows its last known state ("Offline · last known 2 h ago") and sends a notification after 10 minutes. Check that LopOff has power and that its Wi-Fi or mobile signal works (it switches to the mobile network by itself when the Wi-Fi drops). It reconnects by itself. If it stays offline, tap Check at LopOff or report a problem in the app.

What happens during a power cut?

LopOff runs on its backup battery and keeps protecting the place: if it is armed, it stays armed and can still raise the alarm. Every member gets a "Power lost" notification, and another when power is back. History shows how long it ran on battery.

How long does the SIM card work, and what happens after 10 years?

Your LopOff comes with a SIM card with data for 10 years already included. When the time comes, the app tells you in good time, and you can extend the SIM card for a fee. No surprises.

Does "Mute alerts" stop the siren?

No. Mute alerts silences only your phone. The siren keeps sounding and the others still get the alarm. To stop the alarm, tap Disarm. Without your intervention, the siren stops by itself after 5 minutes. Tap "I’m on it" to tell the others that you’re dealing with the current alarm.

I use a schedule. What happens when I go away for a week?

Tap Arm. LopOff then stays armed until someone disarms it, whatever the schedule says, so it won’t switch off in the morning. The card shows "Armed · {your name} · {time}". When you’re back, tap Schedule and the schedule takes over again. Disarm works the same way: it stays off until you tap Arm or Schedule.

I’m setting LopOff up for my parents. Whose account should I use?

Set it up in the account of the person who should own it, ideally on their phone, so they keep full control. Then they invite you (or you invite them) under Members, as Admin or Member. Everyone invited gets the alarms on their own phone. Moving ownership later is possible only through support.

How do I hand a LopOff over to someone else?

In the app open Account → Help and support → Contact support and choose "Hand over a LopOff". Tell us which LopOff and the new owner’s email (they need a LopOff account). We ask the current owner to confirm by email, or check your proof of purchase if the owner can’t be reached. The new owner gets full control; the previous owner stays as an admin or is removed.

How do I delete my account, and what happens to my LopOff main units?

Account → Delete account, then confirm with the link we email you. Before you confirm, the app lists your places: a LopOff you own alone is deleted and reset; one with an admin passes to that admin (you can pick which one). People who lose access are notified. You can restore your account within 30 days.
